TOMMI GALLAGHER
Aspiring Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for youth in Illinois
About Me
Hello! Thank you for exploring my page. My name is Tommi Gallagher. I am a student at the College of DuPage in the 3+1 Human Services Program. In 2026, I am transferring to National Louis University to complete my Bachelor's program and pursue my Master's degree. Once completed, I will be a Licensed Professional Counselor, focusing on youth (ages 12-25) and their families. I plan to go beyond counseling and pursue community-building activities, mental health education, and advocacy—one step at a time.
I am currently an intern for the DuPage County Area Project (DuCAP), which focuses on providing opportunities to youth in their communities and decreasing the likelihood of teens engaging in risky behaviors. Beyond schooling, I have been working as a nanny for multiple families over the course of three years. My time in childcare only increases my passion for working with youth and families, and I plan to continue this path until I complete my education.
